Professor Velovici's research interests lie in General Equilibrium Theory, Finance, Economic Theory, and Econometrics.

Silviu Velovici passionate about teaching finance and economics classes to students from all backgrounds. As a finance and economics lecturer at University of California, Riverside and California University of Management and Sciences, he has designed and taught a variety of finance and economics courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including Empirical Financial Economics, Investments, Risk Management, and Forecasting. His research interests lie in General Equilibrium Theory, Finance, Economic Theory, and Econometrics. Between 2015 and 2022 he served as the Program Chair for the MBA and Master of Science in International Business Programs at California University of Management and Sciences where he gained expertise in handling curriculum development and lecture planning activities.
