Occidental College and the O-Team extended a warm welcome to members of the Class of 2028 and their families as they arrived on campus.
Led by the always-energetic O-Team, student and staff volunteers plus President Stritikus were all on hand on August 19 to help the newest cohort of first-years and transfer students settle in on campus. Families and Oxy staff members helped students move into their rooms and roommates met each other in person for the first time. A full schedule of events took place, including the "Welcome to Oxy! A Community Celebration" event at Remsen Bird Hillside Theater. More Orientation events follow throughout the week before classes begin next week.
