Evelyn Chan is a Family Nurse Practitioner who has been working in healthcare since 2010. She attended UCLA, where she earned a BA in Business-Economics and Specialization in Computing. She worked in Healthcare IT for several years when she realized her calling was as a healthcare provider. She received a BS in Nursing from Cal State Northridge and worked for 8 years as a registered nurse at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in the Pediatric ICU. She went on to pursue a MS in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Azusa Pacific University. Prior to coming to Oxy in 2020, Evelyn trained at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), working with an underserved, predominantly Hispanic population. Evelyn is a strong advocate for preventative care, health education, and collaboration with patients. She believes in incorporating a holistic approach to wellness and healing.
You may see Evelyn walking around Oxy campus during lunch. She enjoys eating delicious things, traveling the world, and spending time with family and friends.
