Ginny, assistant director of SLICE, is a professional dedicated to student development and enhancing leadership skills. With more than ten years of experience in higher education and as a first-generation college graduate from an underserved community, Ginny is instrumental in creating immersive experiences that transform students into community leaders.
Her role extends beyond administrative and cataloging duties; she oversees more than 100 clubs, assisting with event planning and providing creative guidance to two of the ASOC Student Services, La Encina, and Oxy Design Services (ODS). As co-chair of the Campus Events Advisory Committee (CEAC), she is a key resource in campus event planning policies and guidance. Additionally, Ginny contributes administrative support to the student-run Green Bean coffee shop. Her collaborative efforts with various campus entities foster an environment conducive to nurturing student leaders.
Outside of work, Ginny cherishes time with her family, whether it's sharing homemade meals or exploring new places together. Her passion for astronomy also draws her to the mysteries of space, reflecting her adventurous and inquisitive nature.
