A financial aid offer or "package" usually consists of a combination of awards made available through the College, the federal government, the State of California, and/or other sources.

Grants and scholarships areÌýtypes of aid that help students pay for their educational costs. Unlike student loans, grants and scholarships do not have to be repaid.

Work awards contribute more than financial assistance to your college education.ÌýThey offer a dual incentive: money for college and work experience. Campus employment will help prepare you to enter the working world.ÌýIn addition, the Occidental community benefits from the unique talents and experiences you bring.ÌýYou will become a member of a team representing the College and make significant contributions to Oxy's operations.
